Am sorry this post is getting to you late,I promise we won't miss out on any episode anymore.We all christians and we all claim to be children of God but as his child what's your relationship with your father like?...I could remember back then when I would wake up stretch and go about my daily activities and be so ignorant of acknowledging the 1 who made it possible for me to even get off my bed..Thats bad,a lot of us Christians are guilty of that and we would end up saying don't worry he understands..Well I don't seem to get what part of what his supposed to understand in that, we just are lucky his mercies are ever there to speak for us but we ought to understand he deserves Thanksgiving and this is the perfect season for Thanksgiving.. the season of Easter.
Most of us, don't understand what Easter signifies,we all go home to be with our loved ones to us it's a period for celebration..yea!quite alright but what are we celebrating..oops!lites out.
Easter marks the period at which Christ died for humanity for the love he had for us even when we were yet sinners,he took away our transgressions and our old man and nailed it to the cross.well that sounds like 1 sentence anyone can make but there is a magnitude to that 1 sentence..The first Adam was made into an already existing paradise,he had everything under his power he was asked to have dominion over it all,but due to ignorance he lost control and handed his authority to the devil and man became a slave to the devil, we we're subjected to sin,poverty, affliction etc..but Christ came and in a time like this he died for us, he went to hell and shut the gates of hell and left our sinful nature there that we may not have any reason to go to hell again and he arose on the third day in his might and glory and handed the keys of hell and his power to us, we been made a new being and a new man(2 cor 5:17),and gave us all that we lost to the devil.
Halleluyah!now that is a thing of joy..that means we have power over death and sin (Heb 2:14-16 Matt 16:19)..(Rev 1:17-18).Christ gave us the newness of life and the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus(Romans 4:1-7)..Maybe you still dont understand,our old us had sin,was subjected to sickness,poverty,strife,name it but immediately christ died for our sake the tables turned..Once you identify with Christ knowing his your personal Lord and saviour,immediately you become a new person free from anything your old you might have been battling with,he died that we may have life and get it in abundance,now thats huge..and yet we still dont recognise how much of a sacrifice he made for us in this period...I as a human i sometimes require a "thank you" if i do some certain things for you how much more that of someone who willingly died for you..if understanding these and you still don't think he deserves our Thanksgiving these period then it would be right if i say your worse than the devil because even the devil understands these principle..So let's use this season to our advantage, make your supplication known to God,Praise and worship him and learn the attitude of Thanksgiving in this season and allow God bless you tremendously..Amen!!
